The upper roll, centrally positioned between two lower rolls, is driven by dual hydraulic cylinders for vertical movement. A main speed reducer gears the lower rolls for rotation, providing the torque necessary for rolling. Metal plates are continuously bent under the upper roll's pressure, achieving permanent plastic deformation to form cylinders, tapered cylinders, or arcs.W11Y Series Additional FeaturesWhile this series cannot pre-bend plate ends during rolling, it excells in correcting roundness post-welding.
