A motor and reducer drive the upper roll horizontally to pre-bend the plate ends. The main driving components-two lower rolls-rotate to supply torque for plate rolling. This versatile rolling machine, equipped with a universal upper roll, can pre-bend plate ends in a single load. It efficiently rolls cylindrical, conical, and arc workpieces, controlled by a PLC system, significantly boosting production efficiency and reducing costs.
The W11Y series features three symmetrical rollers.The upper roll is centrally positioned between the two lower rolls and is driven vertically by dual hydraulic cylinders. The main speed reducer's output gear meshes with the gears of both lower rolls, providing the necessary torque. As the metal plate is placed between the three working rolls, it is continuously bent by the upper roll's pressure and the rotation of the lower rolls, creating permanent plastic deformation and forming the plate into shapes such as cylinders, taper cylinders, or arcs.The W11Y seriesdoes not pre-bend plate ends during rolling; however,it can correct roundness after welding the cylinder.
